All sound effects and music on Buttonsound.com are royalty-free which means the purchase price includes all licensing and usage fees.

The sound effects and music (the recordings) may be used for personal use, incorporated into or in conjunction with, productions or works including commercial or private A/V production, Television, Radio, Film and Broadcasts, Web design, Multimedia and DVD Presentations, computer games, software applications, media training, stage/drama productions and music on hold etc. as long as the manner in which the music is used, adheres to the conditions outlined, herein.

If your presentation containing the recordings is broadcast (radio, film, television, cable), you must report music usage information to your performing rights organization (ASCAP, BMI, PRS, SOCAN, SESAC) by filling out a cue sheet. See our cue sheet help page.

The recordings must be used in conjunction with another medium, be it audio or visual, and may not be sold as a stand-alone product. The recordings may be altered/edited to the particular requirements of your project. The copyright of the edited sound file will remain the property of Buttonsound.com and may not be sold or distributed under any other name. If authorship is stated in your titles, credits, cue sheets or elsewhere, it must be under the name of Buttonsound.com (Composer/Publisher information is packaged with your download)

If the production containing the recordings is made commercially available for sale to the public, an additional license is needed if the total amount of products manufactured/downloads exceeds 500 units. You can purchase the additional licenses and view our pricing structure here

All works, recordings and copyright remain the property of Buttonsound.com. Duplication to other forms of media will only be permitted if the work is synchronised to your production. This licence allows the purchaser of the product the non-exclusive right to use the sound files within their productions. You may not transfer the licence to any other party and any unauthorised copying, distribution, re-selling, lending, public performace, broadcasting and downloading of these recordings is strictly prohibited.
